At the congress in Oslo you will be able to visit producers around the Oslo region. You can choose between four different tours.

Tour 1: Water buffaloes and organic cheese

We start by visiting Ørken Farm, the only buffalo farm in Norway. They do not produce cheese yet, but have had their first mozzarella production. And yes, the water buffaloes love to cuddle. Then we’ll go to Rygge Meieri for lunch. There we will get a tour of both the dairy and the farm shop, and if we have time – visit the animals.

Tour 2: Cheese from three different types of milk

Thorbjørnrud Ysteri make cheese from three different types of milk: sheep, goat and cow. They have their own animals, and if you are lucky you will taste the first brown cheese with sheep milk, ever!

Tour 3: Cheese and cider

Eiker Gårdsysteri have 60 cows and the new generation have just taken over. You will hear Ida and Even`s story. Afterwards the trip will go to Egge Gård. They make apple cider and the traditional Norwegian akevitt.

Tour 4: Walking Cheese Tour in Oslo

We have multiple cheese shops in Oslo. This tour will take you to some of them, and you will get to taste different Norwegian cheeses! This tour starts in front of Thon Hotel Opera. Wear shoes and clothes which fits the weather as this is an outside walking tour. This tour starts at 11.00 and ends around 16.00.
